Monte Schiavo and La Vite are properties and cantinas owned by the Pieralisi family, the most prominent producer of olive oil
equipment in the world. Although the winery is renowned for red wines, such as Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno, they are best known for Verdicchio. They are the second largest land owner in the Classico sub-zone of Castelli di Jesi. No one produces a finer
range of Verdicchio wines: including sparkling Verdicchio Brut “Vigne Tassinare”; two crus, “Colle del Sole” and “Coste del Molino”; late harvest Pallio di San Floriano; and barrique aged
Bando di San Settimio.
